Dolled Up Dogs strives to be as transparent as possible, including with our pricing! All of our base prices (i.e. bath and brush) are based on coat type and weight.
Each service includes a nail trim and grind, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, and shampoos/conditioners (yes, that is plural) that are customized to what your pup needs most.
Additional services such as our Fun & Fashionables either have set prices or are based on a $90 per hour rate as they often require the participation of two groomers.
How to Use this Page:
1. Find the coat type that best matches your pup, it's a long page, so it may take some scrolling. Hint, check out the example breeds to figure out which one your pup is most similar too.
2. Find you pups weight category. If you're unsure, check your most recent veterinary paperwork. Unless your pup it still growing, it's unlikely they've changed weight much.
3. Find the service that best suits your needs. The pricing will be listed next to that service. Keep in mind, pricing is based on averages. Check the Additional Time Categories and the Fun & Fashionables for information about what factors may go into a change in price.

Note: Most hairless dogs still have some hair, though is often quite sparse, or in the case of the Chinese Crested, relegated to certain parts of the body. These dogs require regular baths to keep their skin healthy and are at risk of sunburn. Chinese crested dogs do require regular grooming and brushing to maintain the locks they have as they are at risk of matting.
Additional Time
***$15 per extra 10 minutes***
Additional time may be added to any groom on the basis of any one of the following:
-Poor Coat Condition (i.e. matting, excessively dirty), which leads to extra steps in the grooming process and additional wear and tear on our equipment
-Behavior (i.e. wiggling, biting, or simply needing an extra person to distract them during the service). While we strive for low stress care, not all pups love having everything done. Some things such as clipping nails or scissor work can be dangerous on a wiggly or biting dog. Moving targets are always much harder to hit, and a dog biting at scissors or blades is never safe.
-Long/Complicated Haircuts (usually haircuts over in 3/4" length). These haircuts are beautiful, and we love doing them! But they often add upwards of 30 minutes to a groom, and our staff definitely deserved to get paid for their extra work!
When additional time is required either due, we often also get a second groomer involved to ensure the safety and comfort of your pup. As a result, charges may vary.
Fun & Fashionables
*** Add a pop of color to any groom!**
A Pretty Pawdicure: $15
-A great low budget way to add a pop of color to your pup, and a wonderful low-stress way to desensitize dogs to having their paws handled to boot!
Chalk Couture: $90 per hour
- The perfect temporary solution. Great for some holiday sparkle, or event style shine, these temporary chalk colors by OPAWS can lend a pop of color in a budget friendly way. Most designs take less than 20 minutes, but they have the potential to get really fancy.
Color Depositing Shampoo: $90 per hour
-Depending on the complexity of the design, this service can add between 1 hour and 3 hours to the groom (i.e. only ears, paws and tail, versus a full body pastel tie dye).
Bold & Beautiful Permanent Dye: $90 an hour
-Depending on the complexity of the design, this service may add an additional 1-4 hours to the groom, and depending on the dog, the grooming session may do best being split up into two or even three sessions.
Note: These awesome services are a great way to add a pop of color to your pup! We love getting to stretch our creative legs too! BUT, they are not well suited to every dog. If your pup already struggles with grooming, these services probably aren't going to work for them, as they add additional steps, hours, or even multiple sessions. The last thing we want to do is make your pup even more nervous about the grooming process.
